For all those folks freaking out above me... hey... it's been a law in the States for years and years!!! Not exactly a new or revolutionary idea... but one that is difficult to regulate and enforce. So... what to do?

Government regulations need to change... very often States' Rights supercede that of the Federal body... that needs to change. Things like hiring practices and minimum wage (not offered in some States!!!) need to be regulated by a stronger federal body with more decision making power. This would be a benefit to ALL Americans...

As for equal pay... corporations are going to have to have stricter labour laws instituted... yes... with FINES and penalties for failing to comply to regulations. Hiring practices are going to have to be more open; starting salaries and merit increases are going to have to be declared when hiring takes place. Seem simple? Well... it is... but while many corporations have these scales in place, there are few businesses that actually provide a consistant and fair forum for disputes. Human Resources and worker's advocates will have to play a stronger role in speaking for those who wish to challenge the status quo... with reliable backing from a (perhaps) government appointed ombudsman.

At the end of the day, it means that the Federal government is going to have to get its hands in the business of private businesses. I'm sure everyone is going to LOVE that. But fair is fair. We have to lose the attitude that egalitarian treatment means that if one group gains, another loses. It doesn't have to be that way.

Look, the Equal Pay Act was passed in 1963. If you women don't have Equal Pay by now, you aren't going to. Hillary is a socialist who wants to ration the healthcare so that her socialist friends get care, after waiting 6 months and her capitalist opponents die from lack of care. She will make america a Socialist prison if she can. If you don't get equal pay, file a grievance with the justice department. Don't vote for Hillary. Wake up Girl.

The only thing on her agenda is getting into office so her husband can be president by default and without the benefit of an election.

She is not getting my vote.
