Cuz they can't find someone to taste a mouse in order to determine how to flavor the food!

Cats dont eat mice.
They chase them because they move fast and play with them till the mouse dies of fright.
I suppose if they were starving they would eat them.

I'm not sure but I don't think the cats actually eat the mice.
I think they just like to catch and kill the mice.
