It was discovered in 1920 and although they had writing no one can read it yet. It was contemporaneous with Egypt and Mesopotamia and some cuneiform tablets mention trading with people to east so there was probable a trade between them. The cities were well planned with wide streets, public and private wells, drains, bathing platforms and reservoirs. Lots more information and slide show at
