In reading my local news paper on Wednesday , I see coverage of the areas "May Day" protests. There is one 17 year old illegal alien that is quoted as being upset because she has been told that she is not eligible to receive student aid and must pay out of state rates to go to college. She sees this is unfair and racist and wants the Democrats in Congress to reform the immigration policy.

Hows that grab ya!

They know when it's hopeless, so they cut and ran. Just like the 2 million Cubans living here. If they all stayed in Cuba and fought, Castro would have been gone a long time ago. But then, they probably would have installed another Batista.

If the "mexicans" you talk about are here illegally then they have NO RIGHTS to demand. They are not guaranteed ANYTHING by our constitution.

They do it here because they have an audience of liberal politicos who are drooling over a very large pool of faithful followers and potential voters.

If they are here legally and are naturalized then this is their own country.

Great Question. It is on the mind of every clear thinking American. The obvious answer is because America has turned into the wimpiest country in human history. Also the politicians are more interested in votes than the "legal" Americans.

Illegal aliens are mexico's biggest industry and export.
Mexico wins big time in this endevor. They don't have to care for the person anymore and the $$$ they send back to mexico is HUGE!

If we know that most of these demonstrators are illegal, why aren't they surrounded and checked. Then we could deport them en mass. Failing to act when you know a crime is being committed is a crime for the Immigration authorities.

Corrupt governments have this annoying habit of just killing anyone who stands up and demands their rights.

They have large armies loyal to them, and get f**kloads of money from the illegal drug trade (funded by the US).

They have much, much more to lose if they have to leave the US.

They have very little to fight for in Mexico. They don't want to have to go back to their little hovels, that's why they risk so much to get here, and even more to stay here.
