Concrete is both easier and cheaper. There is much more prep involved with paver patios as you need not only more base material which is class 5 gravel to a depth of 3-5" as well as an inch of sand on top of that. Then the paver is laid into place. You will have to rent a concrete saw to cut pavers to fit into the place at the edges. Once the patio is set you have to put more sand on top of the patio and then tamp the entire surface with a plate tamper to level the pavers with each other as well as wibrate the sand between the pavers to tighten them. I have done both concrete and paver patios and there is much less prep, work and money involved with concrete. Hope this helps.

Pavers are definitely easier, but concrete makes a more durable patio . As far as the price, it really depends on the size of the patio. Concrete would probably be cheaper, but there is much more work involved.

the only advantage pavers have over concrete is that you can work at it at your leisure. if you want to take a break after a half hour you can...once you start placing the concrete , youre there till the end...

If you consider that a typical paver at a Home Depot (for example) is in the $3 range for a 16 x 16, then Concrete might be less expensive.
Options with concrete might vary however in your design thinking.
Obviously you'd need to grade the plot for either, and frame the plot for pouring concrete. Along with that thought, if you had the notion, you could also craft frames to make your own, concrete pavers. You could also "Score" the poured concrete, as it sets, offering the illusion of pavers, even to the point of expending the effort to texture them by various means and methods. After the fact you might also consider staining the concrete to suit.
Certainly as a "Slab" the concrete would not only be more stable, but more durable as well. Cost/Cheap is relative, primarily to budget, but beyond...to what you want over the long term. Easy is also relative to those factors.
