What a load of rubbish
whenever an Asian team loses they are looking for any reason why they lost other than they didn't perform well.
They will blame anyone or anything.
Tall poppy syndrome, when your good everyone wants to beat you down.
The Aussies were just awsome!

No,who said so?And please,i am a pakistani,and although i would love to see sri lanka win but i understand australia is a better team nd i enjoyed the way they played in the final and how hey play normally..
So cut the crap,what do being asian as to do with match fixing or finding excuses,match fixing goes on,thats now an established facts but all the teams have to do a lot of soul searching before accusing others of wrongdoing..
ICC needs a major change,If you ask me ICC should be disbanded,south sfricans shouldbe banned for a while and all the plyers umpires officials and indivisuals involved in match fixing should be penalised..

At the moment, can't say about SA, Whether they are far behind sub continent teams, when playing in SC conditions. What i remember was, when they last toured SL, they lost all the 3 tests against us. Thanks to some clowns in SLC, test series against SA, which was scheduled play in this August was postponed. Otherwise we could have witnessed whether SA is the real no 1 or not. I don't feel Aus can, match up with the 3 SC teams at the moment in SC conditions. We witnessed what happend to them in India. England. ,well they have done a brilliant job so far apart from the test series against Pakistan at Abu Dhabi. They were able to draw the series against us in SL, and also won a series against India at India. All 3 SC teams playing in conditions of SA, AUS or Eng and winning a series there...still is a paramount task for them. But of course they have potential, but i'm sure it will change soon as they getting chance to play more and more there.

Samantha, you should be ashamed of your self to have asked such question. The Sri Lankans made it to the finals by fighting hard and in the final game, the aussies just took it away from them... I think you know about that "famous" squash ball right? Now, that's why the Lankans lost it.....

It's absolutely rubbish and unsportsmanlike to say.. even to think of the well fought srilankan team like this....The srilankans did lost but showed their best they can against the invincibles... It's the weather gods who played in favor of the Aussies... The Aussies are the formidable ones to play with...they don't leave a bit of space or relaxation when comes to pride and Honor.. and this is a final and they did showed what is meant by true aggression???? in the form of Adam Gilchrist.......!!!!!!!! No way this final is truly a great one to remember.. One for Gilchrist and team and the other for the erroneous umpiring and duck-worth/Lewis system........

there are no evidence that sri lanka sold the world cup to australia. This is only a product of your stupid imagination. My advice to you is that you should take 100 harde tablets before going to bed for a period of one full month.

SL players wanted only good and fair final which they deprived of bad umpiring With Russel arnold & Mahela jayawardana was given most ridiculous outs.
money and selling match goes to most other countreis BUT NOT to sri alnans.
dont you still realised there are 2 set of rule sfor cricket Icc umpires and rferres and officials
1 is for Asian teams specially and every other
2the other one is for Australia
Everybody realise by now this cup as well as simi final with newzealand
and final with Asutralia

sri lanka could have won under better circustances,
if it was a 50 over match
if the weather was better.
this was the only match in the world cup it wasnt 50 overs. they should have postponed it for the next day or a day the weather was good.

There isnt any evidence, and i strongly believe that the Aussies wouldnt buy the match. how can you sell/buy a match anyway? its all crap and the Aussies are just better cricketers-that Asians will just have to face that.
