I think English is the nicest. I don't mean that weird, choppy accent that some people have that sounds like they live in a gutter somewhere (sorry--don't know what it's called), but a more refined English accent (I guess maybe like the royal family uses, or even Hugh Grant, LOL). I also love Irish and Scottish accents. Australian is OK, but everytime I hear someone speak with an AU accent, they remind me of Steve Irwin. lol
French is sort of annoying--even though I'm sure they're not trying to be, they often sound condescending when they speak English. Most Asian accents are funny too.
As for my accent--I don't know that I really have one. A little bit of everything, I suppose. :) I'm from the US, and have lived in many states and have adopted many accents (Ohio, Virginia, Michigan, and currently in Georgia. I have just a mutt accent, I guess. :) If I had to pick one, I'd say I have more of a Michigan accent than anything (moved to GA from MI a year ago). I don't know how to explain it really. An example would be calling the kids to dinner. Instead of "Come on guys...time to eat.", the "come on" comes out sounding like "come ahhhn" and is sort of nasely. Don't is pronounced "dohn't". Also, "t" isn't pronounced very often when at the end of a word, and some words run together.
EDIT: I just found an example of the English accent I don't like. Did anyone ever see "National Lampoon's European Vacation"? Remember the guy who ran the hotel in London? I don't like that accent that he uses. Too fast and hard to understand the words!

I have a London accent, I think Italian accents are sexy, but I hate German accents. They always sound angry.

I quite like Scottish accents, the worst is probably (in my opinion) Southern U.S accents and mine is just a boring old English accent.

My accent is a weird mixture of a dublin accent, but deaf tone. Yep, i'm deaf. No wonder I prefer to sign.
Now you know I'm deaf, here is the best accent for lipreading purposes... Irish, because I'm Irish.
the worst accent for lipreading purposes...? Scottish, sorry. I'm aware it's considerd a lovely accent, but scottish people have to write to me in order to communicate.
