One way would be to focus the suns energy with a magnifying glass. I suspect that would be easier than trying to generate electricity via solar cells, and using the power to boil water.
Since you never indicated how much water, then a small magnifying glass should be able to boil a small drop of water in seconds (sufficient answer for a school question). If you want to boil water to cook some pasta, then you are looking at a much larger project

A really big magnifying glass.
Or, a little more practical, a big parabolic mirror, or a lot of small mirrors all angling the sun onto the pot of water.
Sunlight hits the earth with about 1 kW / m2 so there is enough energy there to boil water. But you need a big mirror and some time, which means that you will need to move the mirror as the sun tracks across the sky.

One other alternative to using focused sunlight might be using a vacuum pump and lowering the pressure over the water. At lower pressure, the boiling point of water will be low enough that even your hand will be warm enough to "boil" the water.

You can use a parabolic mirror or large magnifying lens (such as those Fresnel full-page magnifiers). You will want to put the water in a black container, or on a black stone, or with a something black submerged in it to serve in converting the sun's radiation to usable heat. Water is transparent, so all the magnifying lenses you can buy will not heat it without something to absorb the radiation.

Fill a container with water and fly it really close to the sun, it will then boil.

put water utensil in sunlight as simple as that......... :) ...... use a magnifying glass or solar cooker to speed up the process...... but if slow pace is ok it will eventually boil off into atmosphere
