why when people do something wrong do they think they can just say "i'm sorry" and magically it makes everything go away and you should forgive them? do they not realize that doesn't make you any less upset and it's just a word. let me know your thoughts.

nothing rude please.

I understand what your trying to say, it does sound kind a empty to hear that now-a-days. I've always told people not to tell me sorry, but to show me. To me actions will always speak louder than words.
The funny thing is, I tell my children to say sorry, if they have done something in need of apologizing. I guess it's just the polite thing to do.

some people seem to think they can get away with anything and saying "sorry" makes it alright. if it's an honest mistake and they are sincere in their apology, I'll forgive them. if they are just saying the word, then I don't. I used to ask my students, "are you sorry you did it or sorry you got caught?"

An act which shows that you're actual repentant, observed with the help of the proclamation that you're certainly sorry, commonly shows your sincerity. And sincerity is a paranormal mission :D

Let us have some more info, Raven. A simple apology may be appropriate in most cases. For the big stuff, however, it needs to be given more thought.
