What's your favorite George Jones song? Mine is "Funny How Time Slips Away". His recent hit with Dolly, "Blues Man" is great too.

(I don't wanna go Cliff Claven on ya. But "Time Slips Away" was written by ol' Willie Nelson himself)

I grew up listening to George & Tammy and all of that bunch. He was so talented in what he wrote and sang. But his treatment of Tammy. Was so wrong. Blame it on whatever excuse you want to. But he did hurt an equally talented Lady, in Tammy Wynette.

But my faivorie is "The Race Is On".

His comeback "I Don't Need No Rockin' Chair" is just awesome. His best original may be The Corvette Song, or He Stopped Loving Her Today.

I was raised listening to George Jones, I truly like everything he has ever sang. When I was ten years old I begged my parents for a record player and one of his records. I got it, and I've purchased every album and CD of his since. My all time greatest pick would have to be "Choices" and then "Pappy"

"Blues Man" is great. I would say my favorite is "He Stopped Loving Her Today" but maybe I'm being sentimental as it's my parent's wedding song. I really do love his "White Ligthning" and "I don't need your rocking chair" just because they are alot of fun.
