i got these strings that arent like really thin, theyre perfect for bracelets, but i need somthing else to do with them.. any ideas?

I don't know what it's called. Put nails on a board in a shape, like a hot air balloon and basket underneath it. Wrap the string around each nail to complete the balloon.

You could try kumihimo. It's a Japanese braiding technique. You can make all kinds of cords with kumihimo from very basic to very complex.
