As others have pointed out the origins of Caucasians was a German who went around measuring peoples heads. There is a good site with animation that traces the best guess of the migration of early modern humans at
http://www.bradshawfoundation.com/journey/timeline.swf
It shows that Europe was settled by people who lived near the Black Sea.

Caucasians are a mixed breed, for example someone with Portuguese, British and Irish bloodlines. A white is someone who has a "pure" bloodline, for example, an Irish person who's Irish lineage goes 5 generations back.

If you're talking about their first appearance it's Africa. Everyone supposedly originated in Africa (some people say Kenya).

The term Caucasian, or Caucazoid was first coined by the German scientist Johann Friedrich Blumenbach (1752-1840) based on a study of skull features & characteristics.

Skeletal structure, skull shape, as well as skin color all contribute to determine the racial characteristic of the Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and ******* races (all homo sapien).
