Need to turn off water, unhook the water line under the dishwasher. Then disconnect the electrical and replace the caps on the bare ends of line feeding the dishwasher. There are probably two screws holding in dishwasher attached to the underside of your counter top, unscrew those and it will come out.

Turn off the power if it is hardwired. Unplug it if it is the plug-in type. Turn off the water supply valve under the sink. Remove the kickplate under the front of the unit. If it is hardwired, you should see a box with a cover held on by two screws. Remove the screws and disconnect the power wires. Push the wire out of the hole it enters the box through. You should be able to see the water supply line. Unscrew the nut to disconnect it. Disconnect the drain hose from the sink drain line and feed it back towards the unit if it goes up and over another cabinet. Two screws should hold it to the cabinet. These are just above the door. Once all this is done you can pull the unit out. If it seems hard to pull, screw the leveling legs up by turning them counter-clockwise.

Normally, the person installing the new one will remove the old one. If you are doing the installation yourself, then you could haul it to a junk pile, or see if you could sell it to a used appliance store. They may even be willing to come and get it for free, if you give it to them. good luck
