I'll give you a few short descriptions, if you want the full legend, you might find them on wikipedia or e-mail me and I'll send you the full legend that I have written down.
La Llorona - A woman marries a rich man, has two kids with him, he doesn't want to marry her, marries someone else, she goes mad and kills their kids, gets arrested and executed. Now they say her ghost wanders the streets crying for her children.
Bloody Mary - There are many variations as to who she is and what she does, but the main legend is that she was a girl who died in front of a mirror which trapped her spirit. Whoever chants, "Bloody Mary" three times in front of a darkened mirror will summon her spirit that will scratch their eyes out.
Hook Man - Two teenagers go to Lover's Lane to make-out. They hear a radio broadcast about an escaped mental patient with a hook for a right hand. They hear scratching on the hood of the car and the girl demands to go home. When they get there, she gets out and starts screaming. The guy gets out and sees a bloody hook hanging from the door handle.
Drowned Boy in Hawaii - A young boy drowns in a pond after a friend holds his head under water for too long. His vengeful spirit haunted the pond, dragging down swimmers and drowning them. No one could stop the murders from occuring until the drowned boy he finally got the person who murdered him.
I have tons more if you want them, just let me know.
