Any country who values religion over life.

Easy....America, sorry to say.

The vast majority of Americans couldn't give a rat's **** about any other country - or indeed identify one on a map.

Their government (Dems or Reps) don't have the guts to stand up to the NRA and ban private gun ownership. The fact that the American people don’t demand the ban on mass speaks volumes. Even an idiot can clearly see that the US Constitution is talking about its citizens having the right to arm themselves in an organised militia in the event of an attack upon the country. I cannot imagine the founding fathers sanctioning people walking around with handguns at school.

They lecture the rest of the world about not developing nuclear weapons - and then go about developing new nuclear weapon systems themselves.

They are a law unto themselves - Guantanamo Bay is a disgrace. And to have the supposed leader of the free world get involved in and sanction torture is sickening.

Instead of paying for universal free health-care for it’s people it spends (so far) half a trillion dollars invading and occupying a nation that was absolutely no threat to it, and lying to the American public (and rest of the world) about WMD’s to justify it.

Where there were absolutely no terrorists in Iraq now the place is teeming with them.

The American people actually swallow their Government's line that the Islamists hate them because they have a free society...they couldn't actually hate America because of its foreign policy, huh!?!

They are addicted to their ridiculous SUV's and then cry like babies when the price of petrol approaches a third of what Europeans pay.

Enough of the American people were stupid enough to vote for George W Bush not just once...but twice!?!

Americans still tend to believe they are the centre of the Universe - such as the guy on this page saying that he lives in the most multicultural place on Earth and where else in the World could that happen...well...here's a few...Great Britain, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Holland, Sweden etc etc – Look ‘em up on a map…if you can.

As the world’s biggest polluter and largely responsible for the excessive amount of Co2 in the air in the first place it has a moral obligation to be the first country to do something about cutting back its emmisions…but it sits back and does nothing. Pathetic.

Depends on how you define worst I suppose. I wouldn't want to live in Mongolia. It's arid, cold, and desolate. Life would be very rough.

Some interesting answers...btw, Antarctica is not a country & not all Americans are armed and eat crap. I'd say that as a whole Americans are the kindest and most accepting of all nations. Nowhere else on Earth is there such diversity. The folks on my street alone represent 7 countries, I'd guess 5 faiths, a couple atheists, an interracial family, and a gay couple. We all respect each other. Where else could this happen?

Well, is there a country as diverse as the USA? I could be wrong....

Africa is not a country, it's a continent... Yes, we have crime, aids etc. but so does everywhere else... I know a lady who left South Africa for Ireland. She wasn't hit with crime in South Africa at all, but when she got to Ireland and had lived there for only 2 weeks her home was ransacked and her car was stolen. Huh!

There is no worst country cos we all have our problems, no matter who you are and who your president/ leader is...

Doctors just ended a heart cath. on my friend, because they weren't sure if the insurance would cover a by-pass and angioplasty. The country sucks sometimes too.

To the second guy who answered,

Every country has a**holes like Bill O'Reilly and Ann Coulter. You can't judge a country based on a few ultra conservative, religious nut jobs.
