You are so clever! I hate the artificial lemon juice that comes in containers but how do you think of these and you are so right about them, too.

You can buy real lemon juice. The stuff made with artificial flavor is usually cheaper and the flavoring is a cheaper ingredient than real lemons. Dishwashing soap is made with real lemons because the acid in lemon juice helps cut through grease. We don't eat dishsoap. We wash things with it.

I thought lemon juice was natural rather than made with artificial flavours!

because lemon juice is for us to drink... so they put artificial flavour into it so that itll taste nicer. whereas dishwashing liquids use real lemons because real lemons have a nice smell so that our plates will smell nicer

The lemon juice I use is completely natural, I know I squeeze the lemons myself! If you are talking about that stuff you mix with water, squash, then its not only filled with artificail flavours its got other garbage in it too....avoid it! Buy fresh lemons, unwaxed ones though!!

good question, but real lemons ARE good for cleaning, perhaps that's why REAL lemons are in dishwashing liquid.

because the real acid in lemon helps clean the dishes and the fake acid is for drinking.

because lemon juice (citric acid)is degreasing,
we don't need this part of the lemon into most of drinks, because chemical composts are cheaper.
(but the flavour is so much worst)
