...and you see something you'd like to buy, you should get it right that moment because it's likely that you won't find the place again where you saw that something?

I think they mean that in the picturesque island towns the roads are very windy and complicated. It is true, but not to that extent! They are not so big anyway. Chances are you will pass from the same place again if you take another walk. Plus, if you pay attention how you got there, where you turned, etc, and you have a decent sense of orientation, you soon learn the town well enough. A map never hurt anyone, either!

I think they mean that there are so many touristy shops and the little winding streets are so confusing (like venice) that you may find it difficult to find the same shop as they all look pretty much the same from the outside. They will all sell the same sort of touristy stuff. If you find a one-off hand-made piece that you love but don't want to buy it immediately, then ask for their shop's business card. Most of them will have one - or ask to write down the address on a piece of paper so that you can find it again another time. I bought a lovely hand made glass sculpture from Santorini but I shouldn't have bought it immediately because I could not afford it!!

Meaning?
A. You won't find again the product you are looking for?

b. The building won't be there because -lets say- the steep cliff will slide to the see? or the volcano will explode and the place will sink? (just imagination, don't worry)

c. something not mentioned above?
