Windows XP Professional?

I have a laptop that uses the above and when I have multiple documents up, I have to keep minimising the document I am working on, then maximising the one I want to look at.
Previously I was able to click on Excel (for example) and it would bring up all the documents that are open and I select the one I want - but it doesn't do that any more. How do I rectify this?

You have to have a clean out of excess files that are consuming your memory.~~

Have you tried going to the windows tab on your toolbar and arranging by active windows?
