I was pretty darn excited to see a message from you today. Made my day. When you've been gone a while and lose contact with friends it almost paralyzes you when you are ready to return. You don't know how people will respond... or if they even remember you. When someone writes back sounding so kind as you did, it makes it so much easier. Yes, I have to say that I was truly excited. Thank you for making me smile today. :) It was greatly needed.

My kids when I get home from work. Especially my two year old because he is always so excited to see me, too!
Also, my husband when he comes home from either his Annual Training (with the Nation Guard) or when he's been away at school for 3 weeks, or when he came home from Louisiana and the Katrina Relief Effort with his Unit. He was gone for 5 weeks. I imagine that I'll be TOTALLY overjoyed to see him when he gets back from a long deployment to the desert once that hits us.

My grandmother. She's 70 years old, but I love her attitude about everything (including her age)*
She still acts like she's only 25! I love that, and I kind of gain a certain perspective by learning from her perspective.
She makes me want to be excited about the most mundane or unusual things!! I love that, and when I know I'm going to see her I can't sit still!!

Everyday I am excited to see my daughters home safely from school. What makes it even cooler is how excited they are to see me.
