I have done alot of research for you on the web (when I should be doing the housework!) and all I can find is this...

There is a bus run by KTEL or (ΚΤΕΛ in Greek) that runs from Thessaloniki to Ioannina but could not find a web page with timetables. You have to ring a few numbers.
The number for the Thessaloniki Bus Office is +30 2310-500111. Then the Ioannina Bus Office is +30 26510-26286.
If you have no luck there, call their representative office in Athens - the tel no. is + 30 210-5129363/5 for Ioannina and
tel. no. 210-5148856 for Thessaloniki.

If you can read Greek go to the KTEL website:- http://www.ktel.gr/

or maybe:-
http://travelthessaloniki.com/thessaloniki/Transport/Busses/
for a bit of advice.

I know there is a bus from Ioannina to Igoumenitsa because it said so on the web, but could not find any numbers for that so speak to Ioannina office for details.
Good luck - if you need any more help, just edit your question and I will try my best.

The buses operating these journeys are called ktel. There is a site (www.ktel.gr), but I think it doesn't work right now. However, if you call 11888 once you are in Greece, and ask for the tel. number of the ktel Thessalonikis, ktel Ioanninon and ktel Thesprotias, they will give you the numbers and you can get info from them. It's fairly easy to find tickets etc., and you can even get info on the schedules in the bus station. Don't panic, but it's good to learn the schedules before the day on which you'll be travelling, because there may not be a service on the hour you want.
These are the telephones of ktel in each of the towns, you add the international 0030 for Greece at the beginning if you are abroad.
26650-22309 - Igoumenitsa
2310-500111 - Thessaloniki

26510-26286 - Ioannina

I don't know of any websites but this is the telephone number for the bus company which will take u to Ioannina. Once you reach Thessaloniki you can call this number: 2310 595424.
Don't worry about making reservations, there is always space and there are many buses. For Igoumenitsa call: 26510 26211 before you leave Thessaloniki in order to plan your trip.
