Yes, hard candy! why would it be controversial? I loved it.
a scanner darkly. I like to be confused. Same goes for Naked Lunch.
pan's labyrinth. made me think and I like fantasy anyway
harsh times. How being a soldier in a war can mess someone up.
Little children. development of characters, mechanics of society
Idiocracy. There is more truth in it than one would expect ;)
The Hitcher, a good thrill is always appreciated.
Little miss sunshine, LMAO at the ending and is was touching.
Deja Vu. Good special effects and good idea for a movie. One of the better time-travel movies.
The fountain, though a bit too religious for my taste, the graphics and atmosphere are great.

I just watched "A Scanner Darkly" and it blew me away. The art style that the film is done in gives the movie a really weird appearance but it helps to intensify the action. Plus the story has some crazy twists to it and the actors are great in their roles. Definitely worth watching if you can.

I really enjoyed Children of Men with Clive Owen. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen. I left the theatre completely overwhelmed.

I just watched Shall We Dance?, twice, it was so good and I'm not a real Richard Gere fan, but I so enjoyed this movie.

Stranger than Fiction, which starred WIll Ferrell and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
I have only seen it in dvd.. I find it good. I like the fact that its plot is original. The storyline is good. Acting is fine. The story is unique.
