how do you play slap and pop on bass? i cant really slap on the A string and G string.?

the sound is like -piak- -piak- and sometimes it is -thud- -thud- onli. which sound is correct?

You're over muting, quicker pops-n-slaps with minimal muting should help, so keep on practicing:) Oh by the way, I don't pop nor slap the "G-string" I just move it to the side, then do my thing;) LOL
