And no you will not be able to type any faster that is why the qwerty keyboard was designed the way it was so that you can type at great speed once you manage to use two hands instead of one. It was Scientifically thought out.
Just buy yourself an exercise book on typing and you will soon get up to speed.

Practice these and then you will appreciate why the keyboard is set out the way it is...really you will.

the workstation keyboard progressed from the previous typewriter. The typewriter format of the keyboard replaced into completed so as that the typist does not style too quickly and jam up the keys. try a typewriter and you'd be conscious of what is going to happen in case you style too quickly. however the concern is the place to detect an previous typewriter.

Yes you can - I did it some years ago - There is a program that you can get to enable you to do it, but I cannot remember what it was called, sorry.

That will cost a huge amount, though it is possible but a prototype would cost hell. because all the work has to be done from scratch.
