What if you witnessed a drug deal gone bad and the people involved shot and killed each other and you could get away with it scott free.... Would you take the money and drugs? Just the money? And what would you do with the money or drugs or both?

I am an undercover narcotics officer. I have seen more deals go bad than I've wanted to.

since its a drug deal...it will be in a pretty discreet area right?
so you're free to take all the money and drugs you want to..
i will take both the money and drugs and but i will dump the drugs in the river or ocean to get rid of the evidence that a deal took place and because drug dealing is way dangerous and besides i have the money right...
i will put the money in the bank till i figure out how to spend it wisely

It's a murder scene; do you want to be state witness in that at all? NO
footprints, eye witnesses, possibly videos; stay away from the scene.
money isn't worth jail (Felony charge makes sure you have a sh-itty job for the rest of your life. or you gonna do something illegal to get by.)
But if your already a felon take the Money only!!
life can't get much worse.

You might need to move if things get worse. You and your children can't be surrounded by these things. It's too dangerous and anything can happen.

sadly enough, I'd be too busy trying to save their lives and calling for help to think about the money or the drugs...hmmm
