I really don`t believe the reasons are the contract dispute. Perhaps her conspiracy theory about 911 was the straw that broke the producers back!

She was not "kicked off".
She did not renew her contract.
If you did not see the show last Wednesday, she said that ABC wanted her to do a 3 year contract, and she only wanted to do a 1 year contract, and that they could NOT come to an agreement, so she decided NOT to return "full time".
She did say that she would be back to do specials and such.
According to Barbara Walter's, she said on that same show, that she knew when Rosie began at the beginning of the season, that Rosie was only there for a year, but she(Barbara) had hoped that Rosie would decide to stay on, so I don't think that it was really a big surprise to MS WALTERS.
I hope that they find a good replacement.

Supposedly, she was not "kicked off". The network couldn't reach an agreement about the length of a contract with her. Plus the show was turning into "Rosie's View" as she grandstanded against all her causes and enemies.

According to the PR she wasn't. She only wanted to sign a 1 year contract the network wanted her to sign a 3 year one.
Spin Doctors at work I'm sure.

It was "everywhere" that she was not kicked off---only one that maybe did not believe that was "Donald T". She had never really planned to stay more than a year. She does not need the show---they needed her. She can do anything she wants to do
