I don't know if she got annoyed or not, I told her to talk to the hand because the brain quit listening....
My ex didn't speak to me for a week and it was about the time we were divorcing...LMAO!!!

Yes I have! They didn't get annoyed because I told it smiling, as I were saying something funny. You know one of those jokes we use to say the truth!
It works, they stop talking without being annoyed

Nope I just ignore them. Though there was this one time when I was taking a final exam I had to move seats because someone was chewing gum right next to me and it annoyed the heck out me

Yes, several times, most often at movie theaters, and at first they get annoyed, but after they turn about to see who asked them, they quickly apologize, then do as I asked, thus I'm quite the stout fellow, and most intimidating in comparison to the average male;)

I think it is rude to ask one to stop talking.You can change the topic of the present discussion so that the other person automatically stops talking on the previous topic.Thus, you can stop one from talking.

I have actually told a woman that she was driving me crazy and to shut the &^%* up....she was reading the classified cameras for sale out loud at work at 2:30 in the morning...
She reported me to the supervisor....

Many times, and sometimes omitting the plz, and not as sweetly as I imagine you are saying it... But ppl aren't annoyed. I've got a way with me and ordering ppl around! ; )
