Lots, impatiens, new guinnea impatiens, hosta, ferns, begonia, geraniums - tollerate it. Pansies like full sun and cool weather, can't tollerate summer heat. Here are some links. Have fun.

Pansies will do well in the shade - in their season. The season for pansies is Fall and Spring, NOT summer. Pansies are a cool weather flower.
All sorts of Mums and Marigolds do well in the shade. Their season is Summer.
You could plant Pansies in the Spring, Mums or Marigolds in the Summer, and Pansies in the Fall.
If you want larger, flowering bushes. Try Azaleas.
Roses do well in afternoon shade - but the morning sun is almost essential to healthy roses.

I agree with pansies. Roses also do good in the shade, but require some sun too. Also when you go to buy flowers look at the little tag on them to see if they are for sun or shade. If you need help one of the workers will help you.
