The best way to write a speech is to think about all of the key things in that have happened in school since day 1! stuck for ideas? why not put up a notice asking your fellow pupils to help with some memories! have a read through them all and then put them together!

When i left school the speech lasted about 30 mins! the speaker started from yr7 mentioning all of the funny times and all of the sad times too! she made us laugh and she made us cry it was the best ever and what made special was that she wasnt only talking about her own memories she was using the memories of the whole year group and the teachers aswel

good luck what ever you say will be special as it marks the end of your school days and i am sure that everyone will love it xx

Hopefully you still got to read this:

Hi, I know what you're experiencing.

Truthfully, I had to give twice as much speeches to my peers.

1. Just write down what you're going to say.

Now what you need to do after is to let all that stress out. Shout. Release as much energy as you can.

2. Try looking at yourself in the mirror and work on some facial expressions that would best suit your speech's "tempo" and "mood".

It'd be better if you do this part with a family member, friend, etc.

3. Now have someone listen to how you speak.

Ask them:

Is it clear?

How does my words sound?

Do you think I am tense?

5. The final step. Make some dummy notes of your speech.
Bring them to the podium (if you have) and just before you start, look at your notes and recall what you've written.

If you really wrote it, you'd know what it is right?

Tips:

-Take a good night's rest before the big day.

-Don't make your speech a funeral one. Try to add some puns and joke around at some points, like a comedian would. You'd get more attention as a funny speaker than a dull boring person standing there.
-END-

How about doing it in a rhyming poem?

Something with humour about things that have happened at school over the 5 years...or your growth over the 5 years from being scared when you first walked in to when you are now leaving. Or mention teachers past or present.

heya there... i helped organise my school prom but was far from making any speeches... i think firstly your very brave for doing it cos alot of people wouldnt get up there so well done to you on that front.... now the way you go with your speech depends on your talents... if your funny then go that way, if your not dont try to be... you could be centimental.. why was the year significant... bring it from the heart.. use your life experiences to your advantage... reflect back on everything you and your peers have acheived and develop on that... and at the end remember to thank everyone for coming and enjoy the rest of their night.... cheesy but its sooooo required to be put at the end... good luck girly

write about your school years..the ups and downs..do a ryhming poem..or maybe a rap like me and my friends did x
Maybe something funny like,
Yo, on the first day of school,
I looked like a fool.
I got called names,
I got picked on by James.
He was always cruel,
And the big bully in school.....and so on.
If you need any help, you could mail me and i can devise a poem for you x
