What you're looking for are solutions to get the number 3. So, if you substitute 0 for x and 3 for y, you get 3*0+3=0+3=3. Your first plot on your graph would be 0,3. when x = 0 , y = 3------>Point(0,3)
when y = 0, x = 1------>Point (1,0)
Join the two points to obtain graph.

put y = 0, you get x = 1
so, join 0,3 and 1,0 you will get the line.
