Does deep relaxation take us to a deeper level of consciousness that opens doors to a spiritual plane - opinions please.

Yes, I think so, it can be both relaxing and enlightening. Buddha enlightened when he was meditating. And for the rest of his life he use meditation for resting.

meditation is a very good way to cleanse not only your mind, but also your body

it is an ancient practice that have shown promising results...
meditating includes discipline...because you have to set your time when to meditate...

being a vegetarian also helps you cleanse your body...together with meditation, you will not only feel relaxed..
but fulfilled and enlightened...

try doing it in the morning and before going to sleep...

I do it every morning while everyones sleeping. It's relaxing, and sometimes I feel like I'm floating
