do you shut it down properly or just put it into hibernation?

Close it down after doing a scan for problems with Windows Advanced Care V2. I'm so paranoid about viruses and that I can't leave it on even if I'm only going to the loo ( I'm not very mobile so it can take a while )

Hibernate the laptop always coz I am just too impatient but the PC I the hibernation option doesnt come so I switch it off only when goin to bed.

Normally shut it down completely. If only away for half an hour or so just let run onto screen saver. Click the mouse and back on again.

Shut it down properly. But my husband gets up about an hour or so before I go to bed so I usually just restart it so he can go on.

if you won't be using it for a while, then just shut it down.. but if you're going to use it again, you might just want to hibernate... this will make your pc start up faster than when you shut it down...

I shut mine down if not running anything in the back ground,but if I'm burning a dvd I leave it on all night ,but if coming back in a few hours leave it on .x

I shut it down only once a day, when I am going to bed, other than that it is on all day
