I'd sack half the politicians. Install desalination plants around the entire coast line. Re finance all schools, hospitals. Build more facilities for the aged. Eliminate welfare payments to those who have relied on them for years. Quit paying mothers thousands/hundreds of $$$ for their first born! I would then slash my own wage and that of my colleagues.

I have no reason to believe that I could run country properly. I would try my best, but I would also be ready to find another country to live in if I spoiled the economy or society in my country.
