Bad luck all round lately it seems....(got a leaking water main!)
does your bad luck come in threes ?

Sometimes, unfortunately. And it seems like you just get one problem taken care of and you think all is finally going well and WHAM along comes something else. It can get you down sometimes. I have to keep saying to myself. "Is this a life or death situation or is it something I can handle?". This is the only kind of pep talk that gets me through, sometimes. Good Luck with your water main. Last winter, my boiler was out the months of January and February, before the kids and I could get it fixed. This year, for one entire month, in the winter again, my water pump for my well went out, I replace it but I still didn't get water and the plumber thought the foot valve might have been frozen. He recommended I wait for a couple of weeks to see if it would thaw. I even put a question up on P&S (on here) asking about the well's foot valve. Anyway, it turned out to be the tank that sits under the water pump. It was defective. Anyway, yes, I kind of know what you mean. :o(

Well let it come in threes or on the breeze I'll deal with them as swiftly as a sneeze! Bad luck is just luck spelt with a 'f' so fcuk bad luck...take life by the horns and live like there was no tomorrow!!!

you asked if when it rains does it pour well not always sometimes it just dribbles...my bad luck doesn't always come in three's some times it comes in ten's or more. but i do know what you mean.before you have sorted out a problem something else happens and hey pressto you have an even bigger one to deal with

yes it has this time !
1) A good friend got killed in car crash in Dec
2) My uncle had 2 heart attacks in Feb
3) My dad got diagnosed with Lung Cancer in Feb i knew in March :(
