Is it a good idea to update these 3 things? I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. I was just wondering, cuz they have updates for all 3 of them. Their actually made for Vista, but will they work on my laptop? I have XP SP2

We dont think it is useful.
Just update your windows XP drivers, by using a regular windows update. if your hardware s/w says there is an update for XP then do so, else its waste of time and bandwidth.

All ways update the BIOS, and install the newest drivers. but don't try vista driver, they should offer the same features as the latest xp-driver so there is no reason to try.
vista does not support eax for soundcards either

Vista drivers won't work on XP.

if it is working do not touch it, that is my experiance, the problem with the Bios is you can not downgrade sometime
