Screen Savers were invented 25 years ago when CRT monitors had a problem; a ghostly image got burned into the phosphor over time.
They aren't needed anymore and I find they are more of a nuisance, so I don't use them.
TIP: If you leave your PC on, you will get malware, so turn it off when not in use. Screensavers then become moot.

My screensaver is the one that came when I first plugged this computer in. I haven't got around to putting my pictures on. I will one day.

Having your own picture on the monitor is not a very attractive idea. How about picture of some other person you like most.
