Im looking for a budget but quality motherboard that will fit a standard case (atx). Also any advice on ram and graphics would be appeciated. im going to use my existing drives(IDE hdd, not sata) and case (400w). also, ive got a raedon 9500XT AGP and was wondering if i could get a motherboard with AGP support and PCI Express (16x). also support for ddr and ddr2 ram would also help - as i could use my existing ram until i get more money to finish the upgrade

thanks - email me if u want any info!

These support BOTH ddr and ddr2 and have AGP and PCIe graphics SLOTS. But I think it's just X4 PCIe, just enough for budget and some mainstream cards.

well as for ram i reccomend you get 1 or 2gb. i would say 2 x 1gb since it is very inexpensive. it seems difficult to find motherboards with an agp slot, because they are all very old and have only 2 memory slots(big no no) and they suck. i would reccomend you just start new with motherboards and a video card.
this motherboard is amazing...but at 180$ its very expensive
-FX MB-N680-ILT9 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i LT SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

another less expensive option is this one which cost 115$ and should be great for you
-ASUS P5B-VM LGA 775 Intel G965 Express Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
this can be found at www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131043
as for video cards
this one for 120$ a grea...i mean great video card
XFX PVT73GUGF3 GeForce 7600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card.
you can also get this one for 110$ or 90$ after a mail in rebate, and it should be good but the top one is worth the extra cash. these can also be found at

the 2nd one is the better one.
for ram with this motherboard i told u about you need ddr2 800, so i would reccomend for cheap but good ram, you can get 2x1g for very inexpensive.
this costs 55$ and if you get two of these you will have 2 gb, but be aware you cant get only one, you would then need to get 2 x 512mb.
APIDA 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory

now for 70$ a peice you can get 1 gb per peice of this ram which i know is a great brand and should work great.
Kingston HyperX 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
its your choice but i truley bleive they should both be fine.
good luck with you new computer
