Why is it that most Philippine History books have a hanging or ambiguous presentation over the Filipino pre-Hispanic origins?

Recent History books have presented that Beyer's migration theory is wrong. Why is it then that they we do not have a concrete presentation as to the origins of the Filipinos?

aetas. aetas are the origins of Filipinos, like the aborigines of australia...modern day filipinos are mixture of hispanic, chinese malays, etc etc...
