Ok.. so as not to confuse you even more..
The message appears when you start up your laptop and Windows is just going through its usual bootup checks. When its checking your network card, it detected that there is no network cable currently plugged into it. Therefore, the message.
If you are not using wired broadband connection to connect to the internet, or not needing to plug into a network for any reason, then the message can simply be ignored. The message only appears to inform you that your network card is not plugged into any other network device.
If however, you do require to plug into a network (eg at work) or you do use a braodband modem/router to connect to the internet, and you already have a network cable plugged into your laptop (network cable looks like a telephone jack but has a bigger head), then that will be an entirely different question.
Hope that helps.

When that message pops up it usually just means that your LAN (Local Area Network)cable is disconnected from your computer and will not be able to connect to the internet. In other words, just check around your computer to see if you have any disconnected cables and connect them back into the computer. If there is nothing disconnected from your computer, check you rounter and first check if it has power and that it does not have any cables unplugged from it.

Do you connect your laptop to a router via a blue cat 5 cable?
If you do then that is the cable they are talking about.
If you connect to the internet via a wireless card and built in wireless card then the Local Area Connection is not required and may be disabled. Go to control panel - Network and rigt click on LAN (Local Area Network) and disable it. They you wont receive the message.

it means that a little cable on the back of your laptop is unplugged, and you need to plug it in to get internet...which i assume is what isnt working. so plug in this cable that looks somewhat like a phone line, go to start>control panels>network and internet connection>network connections> and from that you select connect to the local area network connection.

If you connect using WiFi, go to My Network Places and turn off your wired Network Interface Card (NIC). The message means your NIC card can't see the web.

it has nothing to do with the wireless. if you are using wired interent via cat5(ethernet) cable to a router or switch, then you may not be able to connect to the network/internet.

1st u have not connected your mobile or your LAN line code to laptop.
