Beauty, like so many things in this world, relates to math, and more specifically, to proportion. It doesn't matter what your race/color is or what the object is; if the proportions are correct, it is "beautiful". But there's also that one other factor in play........."the beholder" and the eye of said beholder, and that's the ultimate judge.

Not really. I think most everyone has their own idea of what is pretty to them, although I think most would agree that they look for someone who looks clean. At least, I do. :o) If I see a guy who has dirty finger nails, greasy hair, dirty, yellow teeth, I don't take the time, at that point, to try to get to know him any better. The only exception to that would be if I noticed that he had just come from a job or had been working in a field, or on a car or something (other than the dirty, yellow teeth :o)

I can't really answer from a man's point of view, though. So good luck in that area. :o)

Beauty to me is in the eyes of the beholder.
But usually, what goes in films/ movies , is considered beauty.
The likes of Julia or Jolie .. or someone may be a beauty now.
And Audrey Hepburn type was in the 60s
Or Liz Taylor types.

No. Anything pleasing to the eye is beautiful. But if you are looking for human stereotypes then yes, maybe. In modelling world good height and slim trim figure is considered beautiful alongwith nice face......

There shouldn't be...but unfortunately society has set some rather unrealistic expectations of what beauty should be without even the possibility of recognizing "Inner" beauty. What a shame.

I guess it varies from nation to nation, but people seem to have an idea of beauty. Or, at least, what beauty is NOT.
