If a male tiger mates with a female lion the offspring are known as tiglons. If a male lion mates with a female tiger, the offspring are known as ligers. Such matings have been seen in captivity and the offspring produced are often fertile, i.e. they can reproduce with each other. (this is unlike mules, which are unfertile hybrids of horses and donkeys)
By this system of naming, the offspring of a rooster/cockerel and a female duck would be a cluck or cockluck and the offspring of a drake (male duck) and a female chicken might be dickens or drakens.
