If so..does that mean I CANT get vista premium on my laptop AT ALL because of my 533mhz? Answer only if your sure. An if possible..post a link saying i can use this with 533mhz.

See the link below to determine Vista hardware compatibility.

You could ignore the guidelines and Vista, without the eye candy, will run, SLOOOOWLY. But, you won't be happy.

Do yourself a big favour and buy a new PC with Vista installed.

You will need at least a 2.0Ghz processor to run Vista at a comfortable speed. And even then you might not be able to have all of the graphical bells and whistles turned on. At 533Mhz Vista is likely to run like a geriatric on Ritalin.

Look now.I've got Vista on my laptop(1.73Ghz;1 Gb RAM;60Gb Hard disk) and it's working fine(i guess),but Vista should run at 512 Ram,it would be just slower...I sugest that you upgrade before installing Vista on that machine-your proccesor is slow.Hope i helped

Go install the offical Microsoft advisor tool. Run it on your system and it should give you a list of compatible operating systems(since vista has five flavors)
