The best course for networking is Cisco's Networking Academy. http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/netacad/ . Then after that you can go pick yourself up a Cisco ceritification like the CCNA.
As for regular computer administration or repair any course that is Comptia or Microsoft is alright. Just make sure they are certified courses from either one of the three mentioned above.
Note* Microsoft and Cisco exams are harder then Comptia exams.

If you want to be a Microsoft Certified System Administrator, go for it.
MSCE, Microsoft Certified Engineer, among many others are also good options, depending on your interests and training / experience.

Also take a look at the A+ certification, and possibly the LPI (Linux Professional Institute) certification, too.
