I went to a tanning salon 4-5 hours ago and I'm pretty burned. I used to work at tanning salons so I thought I knew how long to go, (half the maximum time of the bed), but apparently these were brand new, or really strong bulbs. I should know this since I've worked in tanning salons for a total of 4 years but I never allowed myself to get burned. Is there a good lotion that will prevent peeling and flaking? Is aloe best?

You can't stop the progress of sun burn, you can only minimize the discomfort, peeling and itchiness will occur. Your exposed skin is already dying and you can't bring it back to life, but the good point about it is, you'll have younger and fresher looking skin once the healing process is achieved. But don't try this at home kids, you need to know what your doing.

the only way of getting a lasting tan without peeling, is applying a solar screen before tanning.
the other oils and solutions, althought very good, like aloe, only enrich and smooth the skin, but don't help in having a lasting tan, and if the skin gets burnt there's nothing to do about it anymore.
sorry. u can always have a good scrub in a few days and start all over again, gradually and with protection.

I use aloe or vitamin E, whichever is handy but I think peeling is inevitable.

certain. Peeling epidermis is undesirable. it truly is painful and then it truly is going to itch like loopy. yet in case you employ a penis well-being creme, it truly is going to suppress the itch and characteristic your epidermis again to time-honored way swifter than the different ointment or gel obtainable. those cremes are made only for the penis epidermis and help with all kinds of subject matters down there. verify 'em out.

You can postpone it, but not prevent it.
