Who or what is an example of two people/sides fighting for power?

For Abuse of Power, I used Hitler. I also used Stalin separately. I need similar things for this but two people fighting for the same power/authority.

A fine example of this would be the Mexican Revolution that began in 1910 and lasted until 1921. The two individuals - Emiliano Zapata and Francisco "Pancho" Villa.
