It's about time we had a woman in office! I like the governor of Arizona, Janet Napolitano. She would make a great president.

Well, I'm not an American, but I guess it's the same all over the world...namely, high politics is in Male's domain more or less...Why is that so ? In my opinion there are more possible answers; women are usually mothers, that roll takes a lot of their lifetime and energy...Those women that aren't mother are much similar to men as far as their perception of career and political thinking is concerned, that's why I don't really see much difference between "men" and "women" policy...

The only problem with gender that I can think of right off hand is how seriously would they be taken by leaders of other countries where they consider their camels more valuable than their women. Would a woman president be effective in dealing with them? Also, we don't have a woman running that is worth voting for.

Many countries have had women presidents or prime ministers. I see nothing wrong with it. I generally vote for the woman candidate in most elections.

Indeed why not? As soon as one that is qualified and believes in what's best for America more than their self interests comes along I might just vote for her.
