depends what style. a boozer should not be with someone who dosent drink that kind dosent mix or smoker with nonsmoker 2 druggies etc. different taste is good because your attraction shuld be your opposite so you can learn to like new things and even try. the same taste style in everything would be rather boring what kind of conversation could you talk differently on or learn.differences is what keeps interest, excitment and possible change along with growth. dont have to like or do everyathing also this is good 2 be different to keep your independence and allow socilization with others to continue. helps keep your seperateness by choosing different things and maybe sometimes agreeing to try or attend. gives a break from person so you might actually miss and have to tell friends that leving early

you need to elaborate on what you mean by 'living style'.
Opposites may attract, definitely, but seldom last the distance as those little issues become really big issues over time. As long as you can happily compromise and live with the other's decorating style, for example, you might be ok but if it involves one party person and one stay at home person, you are really pushing your luck.

Edit: the person above me here made me chuckle.. HE didn't compromise?? Think about it.

Yes, but only if each person knows how to compermise. And accept each other for who and what they are.

I married someone my opposite and it didn't work out. Mostly becasue he was incapable of compermise and acceptence.
