Perhaps, but the sort of junk you see in movies like "The Terminator" where a guy comes from the future to become the father of someone in the past who grows up to become the world's savior in the future is not going to happen.
Why?
Because that future would never be reached in the first place so as the time traveller could come back to the present in order to allow that future to happen. It's a Catch-22 that cannot withstand logical analysis.

I feel that if time travel was going to happen that we would have already experienced someone from the future, even though we havn't gotten there yet, if they where to time travel to the past , we would be their past now, wouldn't we?? you might say that we havn't got to the future yet to say that its not possible but then say someone travelled back to say 1980, we are not in the future then. But we would have experienced someone from the future.. so my answer would more than likely be no... i don't feel that it is possible or we would already know about it

Today is present because yesterday is past and tomorrow is future. We can only live in the present.
If we can travel back to the past or future we will occupy space and time that is not intended for us. The law of impenetrability states that: "No two matter can occupy the same space at the same time."
Time gives order to events in the same manner that space gives order to things.

Logic is a way of going wrong with confidence.
Some mathematics suggest it it possible.
Some mathematics suggest it it impossible.
We are travelling into the future right now (at the rate of one second per second).
People moving in different frames of reference are experiencing time at slightly different rates.
If possible, time travel looks like it would be very, very difficult.

Most definitely. Only thing is, I think we'll find it only works from the point of travel forwards. i.e. you can only travel forwards and back again, you can never travel backwards in time past your intial starting time. If you see what I mean ! (That's why we've never met anyone from the future.)
