Both answerers so far have given good possibilities. See this link for Piscine (fish) tuberculosis and Camallanus: http://www.fish-disease.net/diseases.htm

Until you can rule out TB, you should be careful with tank maintenance as there is a possibility of it being transmitted to humans.

Camallanus is an intestinal parasite which can be seen in smaller fish, such as yours, when they're at rest. It will look like dark red thread(s) hanging out the vent. The worms will pull back in when the fish swims. The website lists treatment for this, but I've had good success with an antihelmetic (worm medication) called Levamisole HCl (available at farm supply stores). I've also seen Panacur (Fenbendazole)recommended for treatment. You can google this with the word fish or aquarium and get directions on its use. This website has a photo of an actual Camallanus worm: http://www.fishpalace.org/Disease.html#Worm

Both causes are contagious. There's no cure for the Piscine TB, and it's recommended that infected fish be destroyed. Camallanus can be cured, but the spinal curvature is permanent. The entire tank must be treated, because eggs will have been laid in the water and the infection may have started in fish not yet showing the symptoms.

See this for more info on Camallanus:

That may be a sign of fish TB-wasting, curved spine, no appetite...it's a bad bacterial infection that can also be transmitted to humans through any open cuts or sores. It's not the same as human TB though, but still bad. Be sure to wash your hands and arms thoroughly after messing around in the fish tank, and don't use the nets or other stuff in other tanks if you have any.

It may be a sign of an internal parasite, but I've never heard of a parasite causing the fish to kink up-but could be wrong.

I would remove the sick fish immediately to a quarantine tank until you figure out exactly what you're dealing with. You don't want any of the healthy fish to start eating away on a dead fish in the tank.

Possibly the guppies had worms in their stomachs, and passed this on to the other fish. Guppies are known to have this .
Try medicated food and aquarium salt.
