After Ireland failed to answer her father's scheduled phone call from New York on April 11, Alec went berserk on her voice mail, saying "Once again, I have made an *** of myself trying to get to a phone," adding, "you have insulted me for the last time."
Switching his train of thought, Baldwin then exercised his incredible parenting skills and took a shot at his ex-wife, declaring, "I don't give a damn that you're 12-years-old or 11-years-old, or a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the *** who doesn't care about what you do." The irate Baldwin went on to say, "You've made me feel like s**t" and threatened to "straighten your *** out."
"This crap you pull on me with this goddamn phone situation that you would never dream of doing to your mother," screamed Baldwin, "and you do it to me constantly over and over again."
Before hanging up, Baldwin warned the child, "You better be ready Friday the 20th to meet with me." That's tomorrow.

He has serious problems with his ex-wife, who will not allow him proper visitation privileges.
Thus, the only communication he has with his daughter is via telephone.
Added to the mix is the fact that he resides on the East Coast, while the ex and the daughter are on the West Coast.
The daughter is supposed to have her telephone on at appointed times, so that Alec can speak with her.
Unfortunately, it appears that the daughter did not leave her phone on, on at least a few occassions.
On the last occassion, Alec left a nasty message on the voice mail, threatening to "Straighten her a $ $ out."
Obviously, either the daughter or the ex leaked the voice mail recording to the media.
Note how I refuse to refer to the ex by her name; I have such little respect for her treatment of Alec.

The last time I answered this, the phantom that thumbs down just about everything did just that to me. It was on TV, the internet, etc. Baldwin swore at his
daughter {she's 11} threatened her and called her a disgusting pig. I can't stand
Baldwin for hurting her like that. I hope his career suffers terribly.

He sent a REALLY mean and angry voicemail to her. He's since gone public with an apology, and has said that he and his daughter have a good relationship. Some people don't buy it, though.

Left a very nasty threatening message on her voice mail. It's disgusting, i would never talk to my child like that.

He yelled at her on a voice mail message that was released to be media, chewing her out and calling her mother (his separated wife) a few names.

He left her a particularly nasty message on her answering machine (which I suspect his Ex.- deliberately sent to the Media). Next thing he knew- he was on CNN, with a "Deer in the headlights look...!" Poor guy, if he was "P-O'd" in that message- I'll bet his mood didn't improve much once it started showing up on TV all over the Country!!! :)

He showed his true colors to her and showed her how cruel he really is and how much he "loves" her.
