Perfection is empty. There is nothing to strive for in it. Perfection has nothing to desire, nothing to crave, nothing to want. Perfection needs nothing. It has no hope, ambition, drive, or passion.

Perfection is nothing. It isn't even boring because, at least, boredom has some desire for something more.

The failings of humanity are the only things that keep us striving for more. Maybe it's unbalanced or maybe it is exactly as it needs to be but the more we suffer the more we have to hope for.

Never, ever underestimate hope.

I, personally, have made many mistakes in my life. Though I've never physically harmed another and never, I hope, truly psychologically harrmed another, I have still made mistakes. Even mind-numbingly dumb ones that a second's thought would have prevented.

I regret none of them. I have learned from them. I continue to learn. I grow, I develop. I change and, I hope I can, even in the tiniest of ways, change the world in some small and, even, seemingly insignifigant but positive way.

I am human and as such I will fail, at times. My individual failures may even outnumber my successes. But if I continue to learn, continue to change, continue to strive to better myself the way I feel I should and, most importantly, continue to hope, then I can do nothing but accept and, even, welcome the failings of humanity.

Humanity has not failed, on the contrary at 6.4 billion and increasing we are doing very well.
Some individuals in our group does not follow the rules of society and co-existence because they are marching to the tune of a different drum. . .in their opinion they are doing the right thing, maybe so and at a future time we my join them.

Well, failures is a broad term.. ( It is human to Err, however)..however, accepting stupid or criminal acts of other people, is not part of our obligations or social duties....its understancable that human beings are falible by nature, (we all are)...however, indolence, malevolence, indiference, stupidity, and so on, have nasty comsequences,,,,they need punishment, because they could be avoided in the first place..
Falible or not. all human beings are far away from being perfect, however we all are perfectible...dont you think?

Consider that we are all experiencing life for the first time. Without mistakes, we wouldn't solve anything.

And that would be Your contribution to the problem, rather than Your action to find a solution.
